BALMANCH – STUDY HALL JUNIOR SCHOOL 2013

Bal-Manch, the theatre festival for children, was organized by the Study Hall Educational Foundation at the Valmiki Rangshala on October 31, 2013.

Following the foundation’s tradition through the years, students from three junior wings of the foundation – Dosti, Prerna and Study Hall Junior School – put up short plays and enthralled the audience.

Dosti, the wing catering to children with special needs, presented two hilarious short plays about Gopi Ki Samajdhari . These talented budding artists were helped along by their friends from the mainstream school.

Prerna, a school for underprivileged girls, presented plays from the Panchtantra tales. The audience was enthralled and captivated by the acting ability and the almost professional dialogue delivery.

Finally, the students from the Study Hall Junior School boarded their time machine and paid a visit to many scientists whose inventions changed the world. This play, a twist in the tale, was a battle of wits with many an unexpected turn and twist in the storyline . Parents and invitees were seen enjoying every minute of the program.
