Convocation ceremony held at Prerna Girls School

Prerna Girls School and Prerna Boys School organized their convocation ceremony on the 11th of August 2019. The chief guest of the occasion was Mukesh Kumar Singh, DIOS, Madhyamik Shiksha, Uttar Pradesh. The students who successfully completed their class 10th and 12th board exams were felicitated.

The Principal Rakhee Panjwani addressed the parents and thanked them for their support and congratulated the girls and boys for their achievements. Prerna girls and boys who completed their class 10th were awarded Rs.1000/- through Kanika Trust. The students performed the song “Saare Jahan Se acha” mesmerizing the audience.

Prerna girls who successfully completed their class 12th and have enrolled for graduation program were awarded with Late Sundari Devi Kapoor Memorial Scholarship of Rs.5000 and Prerna alumnae who have successfully completed their graduation and have enrolled for master’s program were awarded with Late Rajendra Mohini Satyapal Malhotra Memorial scholarship of Rs 20000.

The chief Guest Muskesh Kumar Singh said, “I have been invited to a lot of schools before, but there is none like Prerna. Just like the name Prerna, the school truly inspires.” He addressed the parents and urged them to be supportive to their children and to let them do what they dream.

The CEO of Study Hall Educational Foundation, DR Urvashi Sahni congratulated the students and the parents and said, “At Prerna, we don’t just focus on the academic excellence. Education doesn’t mean good grades, education should empower children to live their life on their own terms. And that’s the kind of education we offer here at SHEF.”

The students shared their experiences with the audience. Seema, a class 12 pass out said, “I feel proud to be a part of Prerna. This school has taught me how to face the world.” She also thanked her teachers and parents. Meena, a Prerna alumna, who completed her LLB from Lucknow University and has enrolled for Masters in the same shared her experience, “Teachers at Prerna are so supportive and loving. The education they gave me, empowered me and here I am a lawyer standing in front of you.”
