Study Hall students shine in CBSE 12th results
Study Hall School had great results this year. The highest score of 2018-19 batch is 98% and the average score is 82%.
Archisha Maurya, scored highest with 98%, Pranshu Shukla scored 2nd highest with 97.6%, 3rd highest is Radhika Mishra with 97%. The topper of the year Archisha Maurya scored 97 in English, 100 in Political Science, 99 in History, 99 in Psychology, 95 in Economics.
The average score of school for science stream is 81%, commerce stream is 78%, for humanities its 86%. 30% students scored above 90%, 8 students scored 100% in Psychology, 6 Scored 100% in Political Science, and 4 students scored 100% in Painting.

DOSTI celebrates Autism Awareness Day
DOSTI (Development of Self Through Interaction) an initiative of Study Hall Educational Foundation celebrated Autism Awareness Day on 27 the April 2019. The program started with the special song ‘Jitni dhoop teri, utni dhoop meri’ performed by children. Vaibhav, a student of DOSTI mesmerized the audience with his poetry. The student performed on the synthesizer and bongo.
To raise awareness regarding autism, all the guardians were enthusiastically present in blue dresses. The parents of the students also performed a song on this occasion. Surabhi Kapoor, principal of DOSTI addressed the parents and said, “A child is like a butterfly in the wind, some can fly higher than others, but each one flies the best it can. Why compare one against the other? Each one is different, each one is special, each one is beautiful”.

‘Festival of Democracy’ conducted to celebrate our Constitution at Study Hall College
Study Hall College and Bewajah organization jointly organized ‘Festival of Democracy’ on 11th April 2019 at the Study Hall College, Pipersand, Lucknow. It was an inter-school event in which more than 180 students participated.
Utpal Mishra, director of the study hall college, welcomed the students and said, “This event is not about competition, it’s all about celebration.” Adding to his point he also requested people to vote.\
Masto, member of the Bewajah organization gave an introduction about his organization followed by a brief explanation of the constitution and fundamental rights and duties. The College organized competitions like poster making, rangoli, and slogan writing themed on Equality, Justice, and Fraternity.
Discussion on ‘our constitution and democracy’ took place in the event. The students shared their experience and the challenges they faced while performing the tasks given to them. Students of Vidyasthali performed a song ‘Inqulab Zindabad’.
Masto Said, “The purpose of Constitution is to give goals for self and community.” The program concluded with prize distribution to the participants. The ‘Festival Of democracy’ has also organized a ‘Voting Signature Campaign’ to encourage the people to vote.
India’s Daughter Campaign- Awareness march taken out against child marriage at Vidyasthali
On 19th April 2019 Vidyasthali Kannar Inter College, Malihabad organised awareness march regarding child marriage and promoting girls education.This march was carried out in two villages, Narsing khera and Aatha. This march was a part India’s Daughter Campaign organised yearly by Study Hall Educational Foundation. This Campaign aims to raise awareness regarding girl’s rights and education.
More than 170 members participated in this and reached out to more than 500 community members. The students used slogans like “Bal Vivah Gulami Hai, Yeh Gulami Hume Rukwani Hai”, “Nari Ka Karo Sammaan, Tabhi Banega Desh Mahaan”. The students performed a ‘nukkad Natak’ to explain why child marriage should be forbidden. The students interacted with the community members and asked them take a pledge and say no to child marriage. They also took signatures of the community members.

Study Hall student wins state chess tournament
Prithvi Singh, a class 7th student of Study Hall School won the Uttar Pradesh State Chess Tournament. The tournament was held at Gorakhpur from April 1st to 4th. Prithvi will represent Uttar Pradesh in under 13 at the national level to be held at Vishakhapatnam from May 4th to 12th May. He won the tournament with a perfect score of 7 out of 7 rounds. Prithvi credits his coach Pawan Batham and mother Monika for encouraging him.

Prerna Girls School: A change making school at International Changemakers Olympiad
Prerna Girls School students participated in the International Changemaker Olympiad and won many prizes and the school won the Change Maker certificate. 24 students from Prerna launched 5 successful initiatives, creating a positive change in society.
The International Changemaker Olympiad (ICO) is an annual international competition with an aim to bring together young people from all over the world to enjoy the challenges of the real-world and explore and exercise their superpower to make positive change happen, in their home, school, or community.
