Is it just?

That a girl gets killed

Was it a must?

And the reaction, Government really knows how to adjust

It’s rage, it’s fire

Look what this country has turned into from a land of gold and sapphire

I am young, my life has just begun

And I demand an explanation for this horrific phenomenon

Why?? I Ask

Is it a very difficult task?

Why are the officials hiding behind a mask?

Is it the end, is this phrase the last?

FIRE!! Fire is everywhere

Politics, sports, country…In every sphere

It’s rage, it’s fire

And my government is filled with liars

Am I the only kite flyer?

Peace is what I admire

I want to fly a little more high

From where I could watch on my country and take a relaxing sigh

I demand an answer,

It is a horrendous encounter,

It is a terrible situation

I demand an answer to what is happening in this nation.

I am young but,

I am old enough to know

I demand the answers

And I ask the notorious monsters to not to make it slow

Crime and grime everywhere,

Not a Ganges to wash away the sins.

I seek the pursuit of peace,

And I guess it will come with a lightening beam.

I ask why?

Please do not deny

I have the right to know

About the way how the wind will blow

I will ask until I survive

Because I have a reason

And reason is to bring my country back to life

I want to know, I demand the answers or I will strike

It is rage, it is fire,

Let us get together and turn India back to sapphire.

Let us free the country of strife,

And flood it with harmony and truth.

Once upon a time

There was a country which I assumed to be mine

But, now its racked up with filthy swines

I went through so much agony that I could barely feel my intestines

I wanted to just rise and shine

But, they dint even let my life be mine

They had no limit, they just crossed the line

A rod on the back and there cracked my spine

They behaved as if they were the kings

And me, not even a human being

My pure body now stinks

And people say that if elected, equality is what I shall bring

More than a hundred people and I was under their glare

None helped they just stared

My body was bleeding and bare

None even had a simple shall to share

Yes I felt unequal, I felt unwanted

I was astonished by the society in which I landed

Unsafe?  oh yes, they blame It on destiny

But,  justice? Where and when will that be?

They brought up all these monster

Who heinously rape

I ask why you stare

They tell me the reason is the clothes you wear

It is an appeal, it is a request

Please save your mothers, sisters, daughters and nieces

Or they would also turn up like me being in pieces

No offence but they do need leashes

Could we get a change?

is their anyone I could trust?

Can one get me justice?

And see that the world doesn’t turn into ashes ?

नारी देवी है

नारी ममता की , सहिष्णुता की , प्रेम की, त्याग की मूर्ती है

नारी का यह गुणगान समाज द्वारा ही किया गया है और उसी की आड़ मे उसे प्रताड़ित भी किया

जाता है / अरे !नारी कोई देवी नहीं है , न ही पशु है, और न कोई वस्तु है / वह एक जीता जागता इंसान है 

उसे इन्सान की तरह जीने तो दो /

मेरा पूछना है नारी देवी है तो पुरुष देवता क्यों नहीं बन सकता  ?

नारी ममता की मूर्ति है तो पुरुष पितृत्व की मूर्ति क्यों नहीं हो सकता ?

नारी  सहिष्णु है तो पुरुष क्यों नहीं ?

नारी त्याग कर सकती है तो पुरुष क्यों नहीं ?

ऐसा क्यों ?

हमारे समाज मे नारी (बालिका ) के जन्म पर ख़ुशी न मनाना , या कई क्षेत्रो में जन्म लेते ही उन्हें मार देना ,और तो और भ्रूण हत्या करना यह बताता है कि नारी जन्म से ही उपेक्षित जीवन जीने को विवश है / वह हमेशा पुरुष से कम आँकी जाती है और उसे समान स्थान नही मिलता है /

ऐसा क्यों ?

अन्य कारणों के साथ इसका मुख्य कारण है कि  नारी असुरक्षित है / बाल्यावस्था से वृधावस्था

तक -वह  असुरक्षित है /अशिक्षित , परम्पराओ से जकड़े हुए परिवारों के साथ- साथ पढ़े ;लिखे सम्पन्न परिवार भी काफी हद तक इसी कारण से पुत्री के जन्म पर सशंकित हो जाते है __ क्यों कि अपनी बेटी की सुरक्षा (विवाह से पूर्व व उपरांत भी ) पल पल उन्हें डराती है / कोई अपराध न होते हुए भी अपमानित हमेशा नारी ही होती है और उससे पूरे परिवार का सम्मान जुड़ जाता है / इस भावना ने समाज में अपनी जड़े इतनी मजबूती से जमा ली है कि हम सब  युगों से उसी को सत्य मानते हुए जी रहे है /

शिक्षित  और आधुनिक होने का दम भरने वाले समाज में तकनीकि तौर पर भी नई -नई मंजिलों को छूने वाले समाज में अपने को सभ्य   और विकसित मानने वाले समाज में नारी शोषण , हिंसा बढती जा रही है , क्रूरता की हदे पार हो गई है /

ऐसा क्यों ?

नारी  असुरक्षित क्यों ?

क्यों कि कोई सशक्त कानून नहीं

जो है उन पर अमल नहीं

कोई उचित दंड नहीं

कही कोई सुनवाई नहीं

ऐसा क्यों ?

क्यों की इस पुरुष प्रधान समाज मे ज्यादा तर

कानून बनाने वाले है पुरुष

कानून लागू करने वाले है पुरुष

अपराधी को दंड देने वाले है  पुरुष

अपराधी को छोड़ने वाले भी है पुरुष

क्या यह सच नहीं कि इन्ही पुरुषो से ही तो नारी असुरक्षित है /

अब समय आ गया है

कि नारी असुरक्षित , शोषित , अपमानित क्यों है ? ये सोचने के स्थान पर हम यह विचार करे कि

पुरुष असहिष्णु क्रूर और व्यभिचारी क्यों है ?

क्यों कि यदि पुरुषो में  सहिष्णुता ,मर्यादा विवेक और सदाचार होगा तो नारी की सुरक्षा , उसका सम्मान ,उसके अधिकार सब 

अपनेआप उसके अपने हो जाएगे / घर की चार दिवारी हो या बाहर नारी शोषण समाप्त हो जाएगा /

यह हमारा सौभाग्य है कि यदि हम पीछे मुड़ कर देखे तो इतिहास गवाह है कि इसी पुरुष प्रधान समाज में अनेक महापुरुषों ने नारी कल्याण के लिए कई कठोर कदम उठाए और आज भी हमारे बीच ऐसे पुरुषो की कमी नहीं है तो मैं उन सबका आह्वाहन करती हू कि सच्चे मन से

उठो ! जागो ! और ज्योत जलाओ
