Arohini Initiative : Critical Dialogue Training 2016

In a one of its kind initiative, the Digital Study Hall under its ‘Aarohini Initiative’ collaborated with the UNICEF to organise two-day residential training sessions with the teachers of Ashram Type Schools (ATS) run by the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. A total of four residential training sessions were held for two batches of teachers. Each batch was first called for ‘Issue Based Drama’ training and then again for ‘Critical Dialogue’ training. Both the sessions were designed with special focus on gender issue.


Workshop on Early Identification and Intervention of Autism

DOSTI, Study Hall School organized a workshop on Early Identification and intervention of Autism. The eminent speakers at the workshop were Dr. Alok Bajpai(senior psychiatrist), Mrs Tarannum Naheed Khan (clinical psychologist) and Mrs. Shivalini Singh(Special Educator). The workshop was very useful for the parents and they appreciated the effort of the school in providing information and awareness about autism.


Study Hall Prep School’s Kids Fiesta 2016

The “Kid’s Fiesta” is a yearly event organized by our Parent committee. This year it was organised on 18th March 2016 in the prep school campus. It is the time when everyone is getting ready to welcome the new session,when eyes are full of new hopes and every child’s heart is excited for the new beginning.The day was full of games, and activities like – tattoo making, merry making etc.

The campus was in a festive spirit with various food  stalls.A “Magic show” was also organized, where the magician played many tricks which were enjoyed by the children.The fiesta  was full of fun and frolic, enjoyed by one and all.

 


Study Hall Prep School Graduation Ceremony 2016 

We came to the end of our current year of Preparatory class and in honour of the time spent together we celebrated our Graduation Day on 15th March 2016.  Children danced, recited poems, and thanked their teachers, parents and friends. The ceremony was celebrated with much enthusiasm amidst their parents. Each of our Preparatory graduates got a certificate for completing their class.

Prerna Girls School set to fly…

Ruby Verma & Sudha Kannuajia, Prerna Girls School with Dr. Urvashi Sahni at the GLOBAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS FORUM 2016, DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES- 12th & 13th March 2016. This event is held annually since 2013, an initiative of the Varkey Foundation that brings together leaders and practitioners from the public, private and social sectors to address the challenges of Education, Employment and Equity.
