World Photography Day 2015

“Photography Workshop at Prerna Girls School”

To celebrate the “World Photography Day 19th August 2015 “, Nicholas Lindner, a New York City-based film production teacher and film maker,was recently invited to Prerna Girls School to complete a documentary workshop with the students.The multi-day workshop included a review of documentary purpose, cinematic history and production skills.On the first day, girls challenged themselves by investigating different documentary forms, and then developed writing skills and pitched their own ideas for personal projects. After a group meeting, a formal production plan was developed to create a film detailing the girls’ outside challenges and the support the school offers. Then a lesson on film making as the best practice was shared with technical support. On the following day, girls developed a voice over script and shot sheet and filmed around the school. Finally, they collectively edited their final film.


“Group Photo Exhibition”

Our little shining stars from DOSTI School,an integrated program for Children with Special Needs, Study Hall Educational Foundation were been invited as guests to inaugurate the “Group Photo Exhibition” which was organised by the Youth Photo Journalist Association on the World Photography Day, in Lucknow.

The entire DOSTI school staff,the principal Mrs. Surabhi Kapoor, special guests Prof.Nishi Pandey, Mr.Nishith Kapoor and a number of well known people from the city attended the program.They blessed the children with their love and presence.
